marzipanik builds new performance work using ensemble-creation techniques. We use heightened physical performance styles like mask improvisation and dance to build vital stories for our community.

At the center of what we do is the concept of play as a practice. We work to encourage artists of all fields, ages and skill levels to trust their creative impulses, embrace failure and empower the skill of trust.

We work hard at playing and are always looking for artists and audiences to collaborate with.
